I lived in the E building for 4 years with my boyfriend and two cats. The cable and utilities are all included in the rent, which is awesome for the rent rate. Our 1 bed, 1 bath was about 650 square feet, and being a block away from the CSU campus was really convenient. The staff was all pretty nice, as were my neighbors. I only had a few complaints. After the management changed, the office would only be open during hours that I was in class or at work, so it was hard to get packages. I also had the lovely mold issue in my bathroom due to the poor ventilation. The furniture provided for the furnished apartments isn't great, but what do you want...it's a furnished apartment! The grounds are pretty well kept, and I loved all of the sunflowers growing by my building. Overall, it was a pretty nice place to live. When my air conditioning unit stopped working, the staff came right over and replaced it while I was at work. None of my stuff was ever stolen off my back patio, and there was always plenty of parking. For being right by campus, it is actually pretty quiet and only gets a little rowdy on weekend nights. There are lots of places to eat nearby and some chill bars. Look out for all of the freaking cops patrolling by campus though...and that darn speed camera on Shields.

I wanted to add something to this review...if anyone new moves into the E building, beware. Two weeks before I moved out, someone new moved into the corner unit on the second floor. We had lived there for years without getting a single complaint from our neighbors, then suddenly this new guy is constantly coming to our apartment, harassing us, threatening to call the police any time we have music on or friends over, even in the afternoon or evening. He called the police twice and management twice in the course of two weeks...one time was to complain about our "loud" music, on a Sunday afternoon, while we were cleaning before our move out. The management came and could not understand why they had been called at all. Look out for this guy who clearly has nothing better to do than harass his neighbors.
