I Loved my apartment when I moved in over two years ago. It has a great location, and is probably still a good deal for the two bedrooms.
However, the complex was bought out by a big company, and you can feel it. My rent has increased by 25% and that s not including the charges that they now pass on to their tenants (tenants now have to pay water, sewer and trash as well as pet rent)! The once wonderful staff has been mostly replaced by agents that are frankly rude every time I contact them.
I believe new tenants get new carpet and customized paint, but I have one of the older units. So the carpet was stained and torn before I even moved in, and the few light fixtures and the tub are still cracked. I also had to sign a contract to pay a percentage for carpet to be replaced, despite the fact they are replacing the carpet in all units, regardless of wear and tear. Overall I no longer feel like it s my home and will look elsewhere soon. Stone Creek drives their loyal tenants out and I know I won t be the first to leave because of it.
