POOR LIVING CONDITIONS!!!!!!!!!!

My family moved into these seemingly wonderful apartments and went through horrible occurrences of neglected and poor living conditions. Experiences upon move-in include and are not limited to animal feces on balcony, cat urine stains on carpet throughout the apartment home, terribly soiled & stained carpet, used and abused walls, ill heating system (HVAC system needed new blower 1-week after move in), water stains on ceilings and floors, wicked 'alleged' mold problems throughout kitchen and bathroom(s) - requiring three professional remediation, Dishwasher unit functioning very poorly (needed replacement 2-1/2 weeks after move-in), and the list goes on. Is my family's experience here an anomaly' Who signed off on this apartment for lease' Is this an adequate make-ready' Is this fair and reasonable' Do we as renters and consumers have rights that are germane to us or are we simply powerless to big companies such as these' Make your own judgments but these were our horrible experiences and disappointing reviews. I would NEVER recommend this place!

As a former resident (who posted a review above), I don't doubt your concerns. My only questions is - why would you move into a place that had all these problems??? I would tell management they either find me another apartment that is actually clean and ready for move-in or cancel my contract as I refuse to move into a filthy apartment. I don't know your situation so I won't judge why you didn't do this - but it seems strange to agree to move into a unit in such a state of disrepair as you describe.

tHE MAINTENANCE STAFF AND MANAGEMENT CALLED OUR UNIT "THAT ONE UNIT" THAT HAS ALL THE PROBLEMS. iT TOOK OVER TWO WEEKS TO REPAIR ALL THE PROBLEMS. tHE POINT IS, THEY OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE STANDARDS FOR LIVING CONDITIONS, NOR DO THEY TAKE RESIDENT NEEDS TO THE HIGHEST REGARD. SOME OF THE ISSUES MENTIONED WERE DISCOVERED AFTER SIGNING THE LEASE (WHICH WE WEREN'T ALLOWED TO SEE UNTIL MOVE IN) AND LIVING THERE FOR A MATTER OF DAYS.
