Great with a flexible budget

I love my apartment at Camden Denver West, but I will be moving at the end of my current lease.
Pros: *Incredible natural light *Location! Location! Location! - I love having access to safe trails, paths to walk/run with my dog, and it's super easy access to the mountains and downtown *QUIET - The only noise I hear is my neighbor's garage door opening and closing, and possibly her walking down the stairs in heels to the garage. Quiet neighborhood with young professionals, retirees, and young families - but no screaming kids running around! I feel like I live in my own house.
Cons: *Lots of windows for natural light make for poor insulation. They are also not sealed well, so the drafts are out of this world in the winter. *Maintenance is hit or miss. I haven't had a lot of problems - when my heat went out in the winter, though, they came right over to fix it. When I asked to have my windows sealed, nobody ever came to look, and then I got an email message that the request had been completed. Not so. *Utilities are high. Community water bill that goes from $25/month in the spring to $45/month in the winter. But electric is the worst - the range was so great I went to averaging with Xcel and pay $96/month - I'm a single person who's home about three hours a day that I'm not sleeping, so it's excessive. *RENT INCREASES - after my first year my rent went up $100/month, which I think is unethical. I expressed my disappointment to management, especially since I received the notice of the increase exactly 32 days before my lease was up. Not exactly enough time to make a decision and give proper 30-day notice. The month to month rate to give me more time was a 50% increase.
I'm currently looking for a new place that was in my original rent range, hopefully with more energy efficient appliances to reduce my electric bill. Once I get my new notice, I'll post an update to let you know how much they're increasing my rent this year, should I decide to stay. If you've got a more flexible budget than I have, I would absolutely live here. It actually pains me to have to move, because I love this place.
***UPDATE*** This lease renewal cycle I never even received my notice. The day before my lease was up I had to go to the office to find out what my new rate was. The new rate went up $150/month. Good news is that $150 includes free basic Comcast. Too bad I had DirectTV. So in two years in the community my rent went up a total of $250/month. In addition, I was doing cost averaging on my Xcel bill - when I did move out I found out that the $96/month was not enough. The actual AVERAGE utility bill was $120/month. Absolutely ridiculous for a single person living alone.
