Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2005

Well, they said that the apartments were built in the 1970's but what they must have really meant was January 1, 1970. The apartments are falling apart, the management has changed at least 3 times during the year that I have lived here, and none of the management has been courteous. The utility charge that in the beginning (August 2004) never ran above $35.00 is now running $60-70. The gas alone is around $40 and it is SUMMER. They try to rip you off every chance that they get. We had a dog for about 2 days and they charged us two $300 dog fees which they only took off when I went down and argued with them for an hour and a half. Not only that, but only half of the security deposit is refundable, and even for that portion they have tricks that will enable them to keep that. The rental rates are way too high for how shabby the apartments are.

I moved in and moved out. The office staff is rude and not helpful. Nor are they considerate. When I asked for the corporate number I was flat out told "No". If anyone knows the name of the property management company and the telephone number to corporate office would you please post it. I have since relocated to another state and they trying to sue me now....Thanks a lot.

I have the name and address of the owners - they're out of California - but don't bother, they do nothing. I lived in the complex for 10 years (1992-2002); the last few of which I had a massive roof leak which they never fixed and the roof actually blew off our building (#42) When we (the tenants in the bldg.) went out to look at it, we saw where Maintenance had been using pieces of linoleum to "fix" the leaks. Management took the cheapest roofer - a one-guy show - and after the roof was replaced, it still leaked. I'm talking water rushing through the kitchen light fixture causing it to crash to the floor. I was a ten-year tenant, never late on the rent, never caused a problem and when I had a problem that they should have responded to, they didn't. So, whoever you are redbeer1, you can say anything you want and namecall other people and try to prove them wrong but guess what - you can't disprove me. I lived there prior to and after the sale of the complex and I know the difference and how it went downhill fast and I know that everything these people are saying is true. Yeah, there may be some exaggeration here or there by some people (people are people) but underneath it all, the comments are correct. It cracks me up that you make so many comments about other people being so stupid or trying to be sneaky - everyone is always wrong but you, right?? You know what that says about you don't you?
