This was the first place I lived in Colorado. When my parents came out to help me move my stuff in, my dad was a little frightened for me. I had roommates who were native to Colorado and commuting to Boulder, so this was a good in-between place for us, we thought.
The view of the foothills was awesome, but other than that, I didn't care for it. Sure, it has a pool, but it wasn't what I would call pristine (or even clean) by any standards.
If Golden has a ghetto, I think this would be it.
