Be sure to read your lease agreement carefully and if you are signing a 9 month lease make sure they can count. I believe I had an extra month tacked on because someone else had an unexpired lease and wanted to move into a different apartment, so they hit me with ten months instead of nine and now they won't let me out becasue they put the wrong date on the actual lease agreement. When I first rented I tried to get the leasing agent to change it, but it was closing time and I needed to move in that weekend so I thought I'd take care of it later. Well, later didn't work. This is the only place I have ever lived where the water is so hard to adjust when taking a shower. You turn the cold water up and it gets hotter. I've never gotten through a shower without being scalded or frozen due to the water. There is a very nice clubhouse and laundry facility. The washers and dryers are small so you get a better deal by going to the local laundry. The clubhouse is not accessible after office hours because they have had so much vandalism by young people. I resent not getting a break on my rent when some amenities are not available to me. They are pet friendly but it costs you $200-$300 deposit per pet and $25-$50 per month per pet, none of which is refundable. Seems like a lot of large dogs, but no real problems. Dogs have to pass an approval process, mainly to make sure they're friendly. Parking can be a pain. If you don't get back to the apartment by 7 or 8 pm you usually have to park far from your apartment. This could be more for this building but it seems like there are an awful lot of cars. It is a place that rents to a lot of students, so there are usually 2 cars per apartment. If renting here do not get an apartment on the parking lot side (very noisy).
