I have lived in Summit View Village for the majority of the past 3 years and am finally getting the h@#$ out! I hate it here! If you like to live amongst white trash, drug dealers and users and generally poor quality people, this would be the place for you. I've only stayed here because I've been trying to save up some money. The pool IS full of urine because NOBODY watches their abused, neglected, shoeless, unclothed children here. They run around unsupervised day and night. Their parents probably tell them to go play in the traffic. The people here are so dirty. As a matter of fact, everything is dirty. And over the past 3 years, maintenance surely hasn't done their job in OUR apartment. We have had to fix everything ourselves. The bathroom wall is caving in because of a leak and they haven't even done a thing about it. Our air conditioner doesn't work and they didn't fix that either. The laundry room is gross and it IS a pain to have to put money on that card. The office people come and go as they please so you always have to be prepared to go down the street to the coin one. And it's expensive. There is constant noise and I have to call the cops all the time (and I'm not an old, grumpy lady - I'm a recent college graduate myself)! You never get a decent night sleep. The neighbors above us moved out and we were happy because they never let their dogs out....they just peed on the porch and it dripped onto ours. But wait...now we have wild college kids above us and we wake up to find piss and barf all over our stuff now! It's not a safe neighborhood (despite all the unkempt children running around). The cops are here all the time. We've even witnessed what seemed to have been a major arrest, right beneath our apartment in the wee hours of the morning. Yeah! Oh..and my car has been broken into here and stuff stolen. There isn't really much of anything good to say about this dump. We've found a house that rents for only slightly more and it's gorgeous! Don't shell out all the money for this rat hole. You WILL find much better for the high rate Summit View charges.

I have had every work order that I have turned in completed in a timely fashion so I am unsure as to why you didn't? I think the maintenance staff is AWESOME! The guys do a GREAT job in my opinion. I think the laundry room stays pretty clean. As far as I know it gets cleaned once a week. YES - it sucks that grown men and women don't know how to use a trash can but I don't think that Summit View should have to pay to have the laundry cleaned more than once a week because people get lazy! As far as a decent nights sleep, I get them all the time! There is solid concrete between each floor, I've never run into another apartment community that does! It cuts down on noise pollution like I've never seen before. If you had problems, did you ever call the office and complain or better yet call the cops? And how is it Summit View's problem that your car got broken into? Cars can get broken into anywhere, they have no control over that!

Maybe if summit view had better lighting in the parking areas and didn't attract horrible tenants there would be less crime.
They never deal with problem tenants and complaining only seems to make them angry that they have to be bothered with you.
