I lived here for a year while attending Mines, and it was pretty average for an apartment complex. It was much nicer than the other apartment complexes in the area, except for the privatly owned ones. I would recommend trying that first.
The place was a little small for 3 people, but we got a discounted unit. We got all but $2 of our security deposit stolen by the staff. We did the damage tour with the staff, and they said we would get almost everything back. What changed from then to when we got the check' Parking was pretty bad at certain times of the day, and great other times. If they still have the $15 covered parking available, just do that.

I've lived in apartments just about my entire life and I have never had management tell me how much of my security deposit I would get back during my final walk. Don't they usually compare your final walk through with your initial walk through before any decisions are made as to a refund?

No, they usually don't because they must get estimates to fix things but usually if they are told they are getting all of it back they should get close to getting all of it back.
