My husband, children and I have lived here for 3 months. Thus far we have enjoyed our stay. Our 2 bedroom is enough room for a family of four and well maintenanced. We really enjoy the fact that we are at the base of the foothills and can trek up into the mountains on a moments notice. The onsite daycare has been a life saver especially with gas prices as high as they are. The oversized laundry room is a great benefit. We were a little leary of not having a washer and dryer at home at first but have found it to be a huge time saver in the long run. There are also a lot of amenities offered, I wish that we had more time to take advantage of all that is offered here. Before moving in we lived in an apartment with its own water heater. WHAT A NIGHTMARE! We were lucky if we could all shower/bathe in the morning without running out of hot water, here we do not have to worry about that at all. Utilities are split per building but we have found so far that our average monthly utility costs are $5-$10 lower than what we were paying in our last apartment so we don't mind. Parking is about average from any apartment community we have ever lived in however we did opt to get two reserved carports and love being able to park in the same spot ever night. If things continue as they are we plan to stay for the next few years until we buy our first home.

If this doesn't sound like Carrie I don't know what does. The parking is not adequate and the utilities are ridiculous! 85-90 for gas, sometimes 80 for water! You even get charged if you aren't living in the apartment for the summer or for months because the utilities are split per each person in the building. The utilities savings alone from moving out saved us several hundred a month.

I've lived here for the past year now, and I'd have to agree with your disagreement. This is most likely the leasing agent who moved in a the time. The description sounds spot-on. Parking is in no-way sufficient and the utility bills are pretty high. The complex isn't awful, great for college kids. But aside from that, this is probably an agent looking to pad the ratings.
