The manager makes the residents feel like children, unwanted children. She is intimidating and domineering.
She actually TOLD teenagers that "she hates teens and wishes they would all just go AWAY!!!" She harasses people who don't have the same veiw point and has been overheard making snide comments about homosexuals. ---she even told one of my kid's friends that "it's her choice to be --- and that is in the bible!!"---
She is also a raving !@#%! when it comes to the rent, two days late and WATCH OUT!!! If you regularly get paid a little late you'll start to find yourself the owner of a lovely EVICTION notice--every month!!!

I recomended this place to a friend a few years ago and we are BOTH looking for a new home!!!
parking is OK-- if you don't mind parking along the driveway, no where near enough actual spaces.
No worry about noise, the landlord peeks in window and bangs on your door if she can hear you!
We were trapped inside for almost a week in DEC 2006 because they didn't feel like shoveling or plowing.
The lighting outside is sufficient, the neighborhood is fairly safe.
The construction is ... okaaayyy... they clain newly remodeled - they mean they painted last year and put new siding under all the WINDOWS. Our appliances are from the ... seventy's... the fridge might be eighty's... god help your garbage disposal and dishwasher!!!
The maintenence sucks - it's a chore to get them to come and then you have to CONVINCE them that the obviously broken thing actually needs to be repaired.
Management... blows. they will help spread the gossip while belittling you to your face. (Don't worry, they'll still claim to LLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE having you!!!)

The Gateway Staff would like to apologize to these residents for letting them down. Management would like this resident to give us another chance to make sure their apartment is in the best possible condition it can be. Also, if any member of the staff has acted in an inappropriate manner, we will try very hard in the future not to let it happen again. Several lessons were learned during the 2006, Christmas blizzard. Some times Mother Nature really gives huge challanges. The Gateway Team would like to thank all the residents that were good neighbors and came out to help us in a time of great need.

i appreciate all these reviews.. looking thru them has really been an eye opener as far as where i will look to live..
