Not too bad.

I just moved in a couple weeks ago (10/2007) and, so far, am pleased.

The staff was quite kind to me throughout the entire looking and leasing process and I was treated with dignity and respect. There was one minor inconsistency regarding the apartment unit itself that I brought to the manager's attention as we were doing our first walk-through, and she was very prompt to get the ball rolling on correcting the mistake. My only real complaint is the condition of the carpet. It is a bit matted and there is a large bleach spot in an inconspicuous area.

I had one minor maintenance issue (worn out dryer hose with large hole in it) that was resolved within a couple hours of me bringing it to their attention. The man who came to fix the problem was very polite and friendly, and eventually moved into the unit below me. The original refrigerator decided to burn itself up one weekend, and the maintenance folks were kind enough to allow me the temporary use of the refrigerator in the vacant apartment next door until a new refrigerator could be brought in later that week.

The appliances (with the exception of the refrigerator) in the kitchen are old, but the stove/oven is actually in fantastic shape considering how old it is, and it really doesn't bother me. It has only very minor cosmetic issues that are extremely unnoticeable.

It is rather peaceful around here, especially compared to the place I lived before. Weekend nights are sometimes filled with loud college kids in various apartments, but their noise typically dies down after 1am.

The lighting in the parking lots is ample and appropriate--any brighter and it would be an annoyance inside the apartment.

However, parking on this property is an absolute disaster. If you come home later than 8pm, you can forget parking near your home or even within view of it. There are a lot of college kids living here, each with their own cars. No one seems to pay any attention to the fact that there is a parking permit system, but it doesn't matter because it's not enforced anyway. Entire spaces have been taken by single motorcycles/mopeds.

It seems that the neighborhood is in good shape given the age of the apartment complex itself and the area that it is in.

I do feel that the rent is a bit high for the size of the unit, though.

I am pleased with the unit and based off of my experience, I would recommend the community to others.
