I rencently had what I would consider a major issue with my apartment. I came home from work to an icredible hot apartment. I was so upset because as I pulled in I saw the office staff pull out of the parking lot for the day. I decided to vent my anger on my front porch to my neighbor when to my amazment a maintenace guy walked by and had overheard us. He immediatley checked my ac and within mintues had explained what had happened, something really dumb I had the thermostat set wrong. My apartment was finally beginning to get cooler and when I offered to pay him for stopping after hours he explained that he wouldn't accept any money it was part of his job and knowing I was happy was plenty for him to stop for the next person that may have a problem on his way home.

I am in the service industry and the next thing I did was offer him a job at my company since it is a rare quality these days to met someone so nice and willing to help someone out. He told me he was happy with his current job but he wouldn't mind a good word to his boss.

I not only called Shannon the manager the next day but I thought giving him props here too was earned!!!!
