When I was considering making Peakview at T-bone ranch my home the staff was so nice and wonderful to work with. However after signing my lease it became a different story. After your "stuck" in your lease they seem to stop acknowledging you as a person and completely disregard anything you have questions about or problems you are facing with your apartment. If you are lucky enough to get any response at all it will be a smug "smart ass" comment (excuse my language). I've lived there six months and can't stand it. If you do for some reason decide to sign a lease with these people READ the fine print because they will acess you a 50 dollar fee for anything they possibly can. For instance, the first ywo days of living there I was moving into my apartment. I didn't switch our electric bill into our name until the third day. They recived a bill for $4.76 for the two days of electricity. They charged me an additional 50.00 on top of the 4.76. You know I would understand if I would have let a week go or more maybe getting a fee but two days' Nice welcome! This is just one example I've gotten charged for I have at least 3 more stories of different times I was charged 50.00 dollars for small incedents that I didn't know about. So please read the fine print. If your smart you'll learn from my mistakes. Everyone i've talked to that live in peakview feel the same as I do. Honestly the "Good" Reviews that are on this website were probably written by the staff at Peakview.

I live in the sister community in Loveland (Peakview by Horseshoe Lake)...same staff...
I agree with you on the "smug 'smartass'" comments and the sudden disappearance of their humanity after you sign a lease with them. I can't say much about the $50 fee for not switching the electric by move-in, as I've seen many other apartment complexes do the same thing.
The best advice I can give you is to contact Baron Properties through the Baron Properties website...be very professional and state your concern with them. It seems to get the staff to change their tone a bit.

Yes I agree to your point that good things are written by staff friends or else it is impossible to write good about the behaviour of Manager.Good people can turn into bad people after staying in this community. No one can enjoy the stay here & also can't feel like home in this apartment.Although apartments looks good, people run away because of attitude of staff specially Manager.Manager has no talent to handle people in professional way but only knows how to remove her personal frustration on residents.
