West Park Village Apartments

BAD Apartments From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/20/2005 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2005   Currently I have lived here for almost a year. My ceiling in my apartment has leaked ever since (i live on the first floor). The maintenance person has tried to fix it several times but he can't. I do not think he knows what he is doing. The heating/cooling system does not work adequately. The walls are poorly insulated and result in high bills. The electric bills here are very high regardless of the time of year. The gas bills vary, but generally are very high in the winter months. TRY TO AVOID the SOUTH side of the building(unless you love to freeze and then love to bake). Pets are allowed. Dog owners are allowed to leave their dog crap everywhere and no one ever picks it up. The people who run this facility are just plan lazy and do not make minimal efforts to correct problems that may occur. Lots of residents have left over the past 6 months. More are planning on moving out. Lots of legal/criminal problems have occurred and continue to occur. The management should be FIRED. This company has many issues and upon looking at the Better Business Bureau they have A LOT of complaints (Omni Corp). This place in the short time it has been here (2003 it opened its first building) they have been under two seperate management companies. Parking is subpar. The lots are very small and people here do NOT know how to park very well. Luckily I do not have a car so it is not a problem for me. The clubhouse is nice, but forget using the computer. It has been "down" a lot lately because people are allowed to come in and watch porn all the time. This is not good because the kids library is within viewing distance of the computer room. UNPROFESSIONAL staff. They should not be allowed to run this facility.
