I lived at Pinnacle awhile ago, but loved it. No, I do not work in the office, but I do work in the industry. Yeah, the trash chutes suck, but my apartment was in excellent condition; I never had a problem with the office; maintenance always took care of my requests in a timely fashion. So what if there's speed bumps, it's better than a child getting run over, quit being in such a hurry! Even with speed bumps residents still raced up and down the garage. Actually, the only big problem I had was a neighbor that liked to yak with his friends on the balcony at 3 a.m. on Sundays. Some people are so quick to blame the community for things that go wrong, or lack of things being taken care. Sometimes it's just your bad attitude to blame.

I do not think Pinnacle is a good buy for the money. For GWD Village you can rent from a private source if you look around, this is much better than living in a congested fish bowl. Your rent will continue going up and up. All of the neighboring complexes colaborate in raising their rents together. They justify increases because the other complexes have raised theirs. Pinnacle is not a luxury apartment. I had a view of the electrical meters and the parking garage. I was near the pool in an apartment with no light and no view. This location commanded a premium price. But no premium view and tons of noise both from the pool mechanicals and the parking garage. Electric and gas bills in the winter were $200. Apartment was always cold. Beware where you rent if you live here. Get a sunny spot and never near the pool or facing it. Apartments are cheap. Alarms go off in the middle of the night. Sometimes because of fires. More often because of malfunction. Not a good place to live. GWD Village is but not Pinnacle.
