Pinnacle at DTC

Positive Comments for Pinnacle From: numlock Date posted: 7/21/2008 Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008   I see a lot of the people dogging this place but I have to give it some credit., First of all, ALL APARTMENTS ARE GOING TO BE NOISY NO MATTER WHAT!! They will all tell you they have thick floors (I'm sure there is a thick piece of floor, but maybe it's only 4 sq ft), but NONE of them do so get a top apartment if you don't want to hear people above you. I've lived in apt's for the last 15 years (that's college/military life; I'm closing on a house this August--yeahh!), but this is one of the best I've lived in yet. This might have to do with personal luck, but here's the deal: a 1 bdrm is about $800-900/month. That is by far the cheapest you will find in a primo area like DTC, with easy walking to all sorts of business & night life. The staff has been nothing but extremely cool & pleasant to me. I've had no maintenance issues. The workout room here is one of the largest your going to find in any apt bldg anywhere--& I workout very seriously--nautilus machines & stationary cycles are good enough for some folks but they have all of the free weights my bodybuilding schedule requires--it's open 24hrs. The computer room/business office is open 24 hrs as well & has FOUR PCs--that's unheard of, really. And you know what, they all work nearly all of the time & they even keep free paper available in the printers which also have always worked. If that's not enough they also have free wireless internet, just bring your laptop down to the pool. The drawbacks: some rowdy characters living here in the bldg somewhere--which is where I can understand (& agree) what some people are complaining about. I am lucky in that they aren't located near me, but there were some real a-holes yelling at the top of their lungs down at the pool last night at midnight--for example. But that doesn't happen very often, and my patio opens to the pool, so I hear more of that than some others. Over all though, this is the best of approx. 7 quality apartments I've lived in. And trust me, I am not easy to please. Good luck on your search!
