We've been here since 2004. At first I commuted from Dallas and stayed in a one-bedroom, then we moved into a very spacious two-bedroom and finally into our "house sized" three-bedroom. All have been in building one and of excellent construction and very quiet.

The neighbors are friendly and the staff very attentive. Maintenance is professional and quick to respond. They'll even change light bulbs and filters for you.

We thought we'd be buying a house a year or two ago, but the declining housing market and our satisfaction with Promenade Place has kept us in place. The mountain views, high security and comfortable living are hard to leave.

Comparable, nearby condos cost $500,000 to $800,000. It just doesn't make sense to buy in this market.
