unnecessary construction, little respect for privacy

Overall, this is probably the best apartment community I've lived in. Noise has only been a problem on one occassion the 1 1/2 years I've lived here. Interior and exteriors are very modern and just about everything looks/works great.
Complaints:
- Apparently a VERY dog-friendly community.. seems like everyone has big dogs, and apartment does not do a very good job of enforcing their owners to pick up after themselves. I have to constantly walk around dog crap.
- Seemingly unnecessary construction is a major inconvenience. I've been charged to have my car towed for parking lot work that was given little notice, in the regular fliers pinned to our garages that many people basically treat like junk mail. A more noticeable notice was then put up AFTER it began and my car had already been towed.
- I've been surprised on quite a few occassions by random maintenence/contractor people who suddenly appear on ladders directly outside my bedroom/bathroom/shower windows, or actually climb onto and walk around my living room balcony, with no warning or notice whatsoever. There seems to be no respect for your privacy here.
-Don't think that just because this is in a "nice, suburban neighborhood", your car will not get broken into.
-When it's time to renew your lease, expect your rent to go up, despite the fact that you've been an excellent tenent and despite the fact that the "market value" is still the same as it was when you first moved in.
No apartments will ever be perfect, however, overall, I would still recommend this place (if you can afford it).
