These appartments are spacious and clean, but nothing special, all the cheapest fixtures and floor coverings are installed. Windows are the worst! Sound insulation is not good, you can hear a person walking on the carpet upstairs, or person coughing tru the wall. Grounds are well maintained, but lawn is ruined by dogs.

It looks like Legacy has a definite pattern of luring people in with teaser rent and then raising it dramatically at renewal time. We had 6 months lease, not cheap, $1050/mo for 2 bedroom apt. Comes renewal time and they raise my rent to $1375 for the next 7 mo lease, or $1300 annual lease! 30-35% raise in 7 mo''' At the time we could have rented an entire house in Highlands Ranch or Parker for that money (and that's what I ended up doing). Also, little utility bills come knocking on your door - water, sewer, garbage. Nobody mentioned those at time of signing the lease. So add another $50 at least to your bill.

The staff is blatant to your question, requests or concerns, they just don't care about people. They misplaced one of my checks with rent once, found it 5 days later and charged me $70 late fee. We obtained a proof of a timely payment from our bank, but Legacy staff just ignored it. What a bunch of -------s!

All exterior windows in our unit leaked during any serious rain, they never fixed it, so we just ended up with ruined work desk in one of my bedrooms - again: who cares'

Dogs... There is no way to walk on grass without stepping into something, the grass is ruined with yellow spots... Neighbors can have 2-3 dogs in their appartment and you will be listening to all of the barking and scratching. Staff does not enforce dog owners to have leash or pickup after their dogs..

Our building was sitting next to Broadway, so it was very noisy (cement roads), we could not watch TV with windows open, and the windows are cheap and leaky, so at night you could still hear the road noise.. pretty bad when you are trying to fall asleep.

The pool area is adequte, but not sure on cleanliness of water in hot tub. The gym is a joke - a couple of threadmills and a set of dumbells.
The "Business Center" is a cry - internet was down most of the time, you can not send fax out of state, there are 2 computers - old junkers..



Overall, we had bad impression of Legacy appartments mostly because of problems with un-cooperative staff. I could deal with noisy and smoking neighbours, their stinky dogs, but not with 35% rent raise.. Look elsewhere for a place to call home.


And we are sure that positive reviews on this site were left by Legacy staff.
