Simply Horrid

I'm apparently one of many former residents that can only describe my experience as a nightmare. Horrid experiences were repetitive but I suppose things could have been worse. After talking with numerous tenants when I lived there, I apparently didn't have it so bad.

Everyone knows apartment communities are as good as their management. Legacy management is by far the problem of all problems. Don't let the slick sales process suck you in -- the managers and leasing consultants are good at what they do. They'll hide their vindictive and sneaky personalities for a later time. These folks are perhaps the best con artists I've encountered after many years of renting. In addition, the maintenance staff is of similar quality.

Don't believe the hype. No move-in deal is worth a life of hell. Not even the provocative display some of the female staff utilize to lure bachelors and equally disgusting residents. Bum high skirts and 15 inch heels are hardly appropriate for a so-called "family" community. If you've stopped by the office, you know what I mean. I'm not the only one that thought they were in a brothel. Equity obviously lacks a professional dress code.

Don't sign the lease: It contains discriminatory clauses rarely seen with other property companies. Sign the lease and you sign your life away. No privacy, safety, or security. Kiss that deposit goodbye. Most importantly, expect an astronomical hike in rent at renewal. Trust me, Don't Do It! Don't believe me' Look deep into their eyes, they are laughing uncontrollably at you. [A-Ha Sucked another in!] Yes, these people are that insensitive and deep down they hate you. Their true colors become vivid upon signing the lease.

Care about safety': Don't rent at Legacy. Building and parking lots are not lit appropriately. Getting lights replaced by those less than quality maintenance guys I referred to is a joke. Talk about scary, those guys gave me the creeps everytime. Not just me though, several neighbors called the kids in when they were around. Safety and Security is a real issue. It's no surprise Tom Martino did a story on a Legacy resident who was raped and later ignored by management. As a younger female professional I was totally frightened.

What to expect about the apartment unit itself': A dreaded homelife for sure. Appliances to Plumbing, the creepy maintenance staff visited frequently because issues were rarely resolved. Have any idea what it's like to have no A/C for several days' Ever had your home flooded because of faulty appliances and plumbing' These are just a few. The grounds were purely filthy. The animal feces and urine was abominable.

Amenities': What Amenities is more like it. An overcrowded pool full of questionable people, more than half not even residents. I often felt like I was at a government pool. On one occasion I overheard a young man say, "We ain't got a bad A** pool like this in the hood", on another, a resident questioned some young teens about their presence. A young girl shouted "**** you lady, we'll swim here if we ******* want too." That left an impression I can't quite forget.

Here I thought I was the only one that felt the same way. Our experience hasn't been as bad as yours but bad enough. We're sick of rude as* staff - noise - no water pressure - no parking - piled garbage at the dumpsters - and BROKEN a/c units! I'm a current resident and my neighbor stopped me when I got home today. She said our 2nd floor neighbor below mentioned we would find lotsa the same probs we had here. Me and my roomie havent been real happy here at all. This place is goin to hell. We couldn't help but also laugh our as*es off at this review! So ridiculously truthful you have to laugh. Thanks for tellin it gurrl! and makin' our day too!
