Looks good until you move in!I moved in last weekend only to find out my actual apartment is very different from the model shown you to convince you to rent. My carpet was soaked with dog urine and the place was filthy. I recieved new carpet only after taking the matter up with corporate headquarters, the city of lafayette, the better business and threating lawsuit. The carpet replacement ended up being a complete fiascal as well with the workers being admitted into my apartment an hour before they were supposed to, while I was still at work, causing my cat to become so terrified she launched herself off the 3rd floor balcony. The carpet co. notified the management office but did they call me' No. This management company has the worst office personal and managment I have ever seen. Plus.......everyone be aware... the company charges a $200 non-refundable pet deposit per pet plus pet rent which is supposed to be used to repair damage and completely clean the unit so the next tenant is not affected if they have allergies ( so quoted by the leasing agent). But my experience is living proof the money is in fact not used for that purpose. Please, do not rent from this horrible company and if you are a current or former tenant reading this posting who has had similar problems please contact the better business bureau and the city of Lafayette and file a complaint.
