Don't Live Here From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/19/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   Belmar Villas sucks. They lure you in with great promotions (we were promised $850 for rent that turned out to be $1030) and then a couple months later, they decide you are not worth their time. In the 8 months we've been here (damn 12 month lease) we have gone with out heat for a week and without hot water for about a week. Now that the heat is "fixed" it won't turn off and keeps our aparment at a consistent 80 and yet we are still charged for it. We've also had a broken screen for about a month. We call maintenance constantly but they never seem to have the time to come fix anything, and on the off chance that they do show up, someone has "messed" up the paperwork so they aren't allowed inside. When it snows they don't shovel and whoever they contracted to plow the parking lot does a horrible job. All I can say is that come July, my roommates and I are getting the hell out.
