I've liked it pretty well.

Years at this apartment: 2009 - 2009
I've lived at the Hillside Point apartments for about 2 months now. The ladies in the office are pretty nice. Diana is a total sweetheart, Denise I sometimes question her sanity. My neighbors are nice, they mostly keep to themselves. We can hear the upstairs neighbors footsteps rather loudly sometimes, but I think this is just how the apartment was built.
I really like the security breeze way. 2 apartments to every 1 locked breezeway.
The pool is small, and during a tour of the place the ladies said we had a year-round hot tub, but we do not. It was turned into a gym in the last couple years I'm guessing.
Some of the neighbor kids are rather noisy, but this is with the windows open.
We only have 1 air conditioner, and it doesnt even manage to cool down the living room. It is just a room air conditioner, though the ladies say it cools everything down in the apartment nicely. I've had more than 1 sleepless night because of the heat, despite my windows being wide open.
There are several assisted living mentally handicapped people living here. They don't seem to be out much, but I've seen them unsupervised and they sort of hassle you when you are walking to your car or to the office.
When we moved into our apartment it wasn't completely cleaned. Some of the cabinets in the bathroom were rotten, when we requested they fix it, they tried to claim there was nothing wrong with it.
These are little things that haven't been a huge problem, but I think people should know about.
I dread living here all summer. The air conditioner in the model is about 15 years newer than the one in our apartment. It is always freezing up and doesn't blow cold air very well. Luckily we moved in the last of July, and winter is soon on its way.
They seem to be well prepared for the cold, there is a fire place, and then central heat in the apartment. I just wish they could provide these kinds of amenities for the summer with air conditioning.
The thing I like about the apartment is it is very roomy. The living room is a bit awkward where you have to put the couch RIGHT in front of the A/C, but everything else fits nicely. It is a galley kitchen, which has its ups and downs, and there is no pantry, so storage space is a problem for groceries.
the bedrooms have plenty of closet space. I still haven't filled mine up after 2 months.
My bedroom comfortably fits a queen bed, a medium sized desk, a small nightstand, and a medium sized dresser.
The windows are large and let plenty of light in.
overall it's a nice apartment. I've enjoyed my stay here, and I love being close to the Belmar shopping area.
I would recommend this apartment.
