You definately get what you pay for here. Just be sure that when you do "pay" you get a reciept and make a copy. The office staff tends to "misplace" payments then harrass you month after month even when they have a copy of the payment in your file and it's their fault! You will be paying a rediculous rate for utilities. The only one that will make any sense is your Xcel bill for electricity. Good luck getting maintenance to fix something right the first time around, and when you finally get them there make sure your well rested to clean up after them. They leave a horrid mess! And if something happens while your away (say like a flood in your apartment which happened way too often for me), don't expect a phone call or notice before you come home (SURPRISE)! The closet doors are a pain and never stay on their tracks. There are no thermostats for the air or heat and they get turned off for the seasons so you can't use the air in winter months or the heat in summer months (hello this is Colorado). As for the grounds, lets just say it's for the Geese. The lake omits an awful stench too. The interior hallways are never kept. I was always sweeping it up myself. My patio was always flooded. There's never any parking in front of your building. The potholes in the parking lot are rediculous. The only thing I can say I liked about living there was the pool. It was never too crowded or noisy and the people were friendly and easy going.
