Can't wait to move
From: -Anonymous-Date posted: 12/4/2007
Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007
My spouse and I moved here early this year, because of time restrictions of our move we didn't have time to shop around, and we paid the price.
I'm going to try to wright an unbiased review as possible with pros and cons
Pro: Rent itself is affordable (not including utilites)
Pro: Nice shopping area
Pro: Nice grounds, besides the goose poop everywhere during the winter months
Pro: In the apartment I was in, I couldn't hear the neighbors
Pro: when dishwasher broke, it was fixed promptly
Con: If you live in building one or two, it is impossible to find parking. I can't speak for the other buildings.
Con: The apartments do not have seperate water meters so they take the total bill for the building/s and split it between the tenants. I lived in a 1 bed, 1 bath apartment and had to pay on average an $75 dollar water bill a month.
Con: There is constant vandulism with apartment property, broken common area windows, broken side entrance door knobs
Con: (not nessarily the apartments fault) This is a locked facility with electronic keyway at the front and locked side doors. The problem is that people always prop the doors open or vandals break the locked door knobs.
Con: The apartments heat/ac are seasonal, which means if it is a hot day in the spring or fall, no ac. This is Colorado the weather is constantly risng and falling. This made for some miserable sweaty nights.
Con: whether you use the heat/ac or not you get billed for it.
All and all this apartment is not all that it is cracked up to be
