I wasn't impressed

I lived here in 2002-2003 and there was a lot to be desired, as far as I'm concerned.
The maintenance guys would just come walking in to our place whenever they wanted. I damn near shot one of them during an unannounced, unscheduled visits @ 6am on a Saturday. That was the last time that happened!! :D
Then there was the time that the carpet layers woke us up on Saturday morning, putting in carpet in the apartment upstairs. No notice or any courtesy communication from the management, just BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!! Good Morning Bear Creek!!
Oh yeah, the frickin utility bills!!! Holy crap, like $130-$140 a month, if you used the AC!!! One day we unplugged and turned off everything in that apartment and then went out to look at the meter - it was still zipping along like nothing had changed. I would swear we were paying for someone else's electricity.
Over the years, I've discovered that life is a lot nicer renting from a private individual. Living in an apartment complex is lame enough, without being treated like a commodity.
