Office staff, untimely up-keep and lack of parking.

Where to begin. The first couple of months was winter. Dealing with a snow shovel was fine but when the contracted lot clearing truck came through, he would often leave the snow piled at times a foot and a half behind vehicles. Then spring came...glorious elder bugs flurried into my bathroom, along with a half inch gap between the wall of the shower and the decorative covering of the faucet. They sprayed for elder bugs and ended up poisoning my dog, cleaning up after he had vomited all over the living room was fun, then they told me there was nothing wrong with the half inch gap...uh yeah except for water getting into the wall and the fact that it would rot the ceiling of my neighbor. The valance for the vertical blinds fell off because maintenance's belief is that if you can fix it with duct tape its good.
Now its summer. Going to the gym is a pain, since one machine or another is ALWAYS down. The treadmill has been down for over a month. The chorded weight machine's butterfly attachment was down for over a month, and the other treadmill that they have won't work unless you weight between 100 and 160lbs. Not functional for someone wanting to lose weight.
The staff is NOT helpful. They will talk to you in circles. The ONLY way to get anything done around this place is to contact the Property Manager. The rest of the staff will give you an excuse, take down your name number and apt # and ignore your complaint/request for service. The mail service here is horrible. There is no schedule for when your mail will actually be delivered. Sometimes they deliver at 11a sometimes they won't come around until 7p, one day (not a holiday or sunday) they never showed up. Their contracted help is horrendous. I was trying to come home after a long day, and they had a carpet guy measuring the carpet in the middle of the parking lot. Completely blocking the road. When I honked my horn he completely ignored me.
If you want a headache, then by all means move in. They have lowered their qualifications for rental it seems because I have seen 2 eviction notices on other tenants doors (they are not subtle about management/tenant communication) and since they let some tenants move in beer bottles and cigarette butts have begun turning up on the walkways and in the bushes.
