I am writing this review as a current resident of this facility. ***This opinion is of my own creation and is not meant to defame, demean, fabricate, insult or further undermine rental efforts or to antagonize any opinion already expressed in past present or future*** I write this to inform you that the maintenance and management and some tenants are extremely sub-par. Managements inexperience is a factor that should be taken very seriously when thinking of becoming a tenant. Here are some issues: Fire safety, personal safety, lack of parking (near or in front of the building you live in) noisy neighbors, poor grounds maintenance, safety and sanitation, i.e. animal waste, poor management (failure to hold tenants accountable to their lease agreement and local laws) failure to address complaints, suspected drug activity, savage children (of tenants at Marston Pointe and the Heights apartments) displaying pack type behavior to include vandalism, property damage and theft at all hours of the day and night. Many of my fellow tenants as well as I have made several contacts to the local management office and corporate office JRK Property Holdings, (four have moved out in the last 2 months) regarding the issues mentioned above but not limited to what is written in this review. I strongly recommend that if you are thinking about moving in here, DON T BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!! Inspect the property in its entirety and point out anything you see as a concern. Once you sign your name on the dotted line you are now bound by whatever services management/maintenance feels to be sufficient. If you are not concerned with the condition of the grounds, maintenance or viability of management, then this may be the place for you and your family.
It was recommended to me (by corporate) if I don t like what is going on here I can/should just move out. Ask yourself this do you really want to live in a place where when you make complaints, their immediate resolution is for YOU to move out' I think not!! The ONLY real plus in this situation is the units themselves. They are very spacious and well equipped with energy saving appliances and W/D hook-ups in every unit. Comcast and Dish services are also welcome. The buildings seem to be well built. Depending on the type of unit you rent, there are gorgeous views of Downtown Denver and looking west are awesome views of the mountains. The sunset here are some of the best I have ever seem while living in an apartment!!!!

Please be advised: Marston Pointe Apartments is located directly east of a Division of Youth Corrections Facility Mount-view Detention and just under 1 mile due west is the Englewood Federal Correctional facility (prison). This reviewer was not notified of these facilities being located in such close proximity to this community.*!*!*

Thats not True at all !!!! Marston Pointe i a great pace to live. Prices are affordable and maintenance and staff are great!!! Everything gets done in a timely matter, work orders and tenants concerns. I been Living at marston pointe for Four years now and I love my spacious two bedroom apartment. Its a great location and its awfully quiet during day and night.

I have to agree with Dannon7272. This place really needs some fixing up and a management turnover. I used to live there up until August of 2009. I had so many issues with other tenants not respecting the rules. Dogs tied up unattended, poop everywhere and the cops where here all the time, maintenance was ok. The manager was just "OK". I couldn't even walk through the building I lived in since some tenants felt it ok to walk around with their dogs in nights gowns. Yuck. For the price I paid to live in a three bedroom it was totally not worth it. I don't know where the above poster has been this whole time but they might have been lucky to live in a side building where the drama doesn't happen or they may have been lucky enough to not have an real issue for maintenance or complex concerns. But I assure you THERE ARE ISSUES HERE. Many Dannon7272 explained beautifully. I would never refer someone here nor would I even want to live at another JRK property. I moved out into a better complex not far from there and I couldn't be happier!! There are prisons near Marston Pointe? I was never told!!! In closing...well spoken Dannon7272!!!!

Dannon..BRAVO!!! I couldnt have said it better. Before you move in, walk thru the buildings and you will see how filthy everything is! The walk ways, walls, out door hallways..FILTHY! I cant wait to move! I've seen th lady in her HALF night gown bending over for all to see! ewww.
