To sum this all up so you don?t have to read this all, be prepared to have many dates for move in. Be pre prepared to wait a while to get things fixed right. Be prepared to take the stairs. And be prepared to have move out problems such as not getting money they owe you and getting a new phone number so you do not get disturbing calls at all hours.

They will dazzle you with a great tour when you first come to look at the place. After that it?s all crap like the gooses crap that is all over the grounds. If they make pet owners pick up there pets waste because it could contaminate the water why don?t they clean up there pet waste. There waste is all over the place it gets on peoples shoes which tracks in every where. When you sign a lease with Riata be prepared to sign a few leases, and if you?re in a apt make sure you have some lead way to stay there. They called us with 3 different move in dates. Also don?t plan on getting the style of apartment they tell you your going to have
Things are fine tell you have something go wrong then expect to wait for a few days to get it fixed. We went a month with out a dishwasher. It takes maintenance a few days to get around to your problem. That is if the head maintenance even puts in a work order for them. Also be prepared to have them fix what ever it may be a few times.
Also if you live in the towers be prepared to take the stairs as the elevators are broke more then they work. Even be prepared to get stuck in them.
Moving out: I am not sure who to trust on info from Riata on this. We knew we were moving out as soon as we found a house, so we done what we thought was the right thing to do. We went over to the office and asked how it would work if we moved out while the current month and before the month was up. One of there workers in the office told us as soon as we found a place they would prorate our rent to only what we lived there that month once we turned in our 30day notice. We were like cool so we stared turning it in right then as we thought we had a place, any one that has ever bought a home knows it can take more then one contact to go thru and get a place. Any ways 5 place?s went by and 3 months did also but all the while we put or 30 days in thinking we would be covered and we would get some rent back Wrong.
A month went by and we did not see a deposit or a pro rated rent refund finely at the end of 1.5 months we called and asked where it was. They said it was coming sure enough it came but looking over it we seen there was no pro rated rent. So we called them up and asked where our money was for the rent and they told us we had to have or 30 days in exactly 30 days before we moved out and since we done it 3 times they figured we were moving so they did not owe us any thing. More crap 30 days includes all the moth and who knows exactly when there moving out and why didn?t there worker tell us it had to be 30 days exactly.
One more thing when you move out get a new number if you lived in the towers as they will not take your Phone number out of the door entry system so you will get disturbing calls at any and all hours of the day and night.
I would like to urge people that has problems with this place to go to the better business bureau and file a complaint about them http://www.denver.bbb.org/complaint.html Maybe if enough People do this we can show them although there big they can?t go around ripping people off.
Don?t get me wrong there are some nice things about Riata when they are open to use.
