A little past due...

Well, like the title mentions above, this review is past due. I'm not too sure where to begin but this was my very first apartment. A wonderful one at that. Sure it was my first on-my-own place it was great. I surely miss that place beyond belief. My girlfriend and I moved to St. Mortiz in March of 99. We also invited a friend to live with us as well. Ahh...the memories...and what a nice place to always think of in the back of my mind for years to come. So how did Mortiz rate with us' Well, they did an excellent job. Management was always friendly and any maintenance issues were resolved in a prompt fashion. I don't remember the names of anyone over there except for two tenants below us and the maintenance person, Harold. Parking was never a real problem. My unit was in the top level of the building adjacent to the pool. On occasion we would have a noisy group in the pool and that was very irritating. The pool gates were locked after hours but some people just jumped the fence. There was a time that I made a complaint about a certain group and from what I can tell, things were handled professionally. The interior was nice and for the most part very quite. I remember that the maintenance group was always on top of snow plowing and that was great. You also have the option to recycle cans, plastics and paper there too! The only thing that bothered me about the place was that our unit had a lot of volume and sometimes it felt that the AC couldn't keep up. The apartment got chilly in the winter but would just hangout in front of the fire. The floor plan was great and bathrooms were great. The masterbed had two gigantic closets and the other bedroom had one but it too was large. Sometimes our utility bill was skyhigh but that's something we should have taken care of but never made the effort. The grounds are well kept and fun to walk around in. The location was great and oh, did I mention that I miss this place' If you're undecided about your options go ahead and give St. Moritz a try. We loved it.
