at first I thought this was a nice place, the managment and properties seemed great...until you move in. to begin with the managers are rude, unflexable, vindictive liars who stop being nice the second you move in. they appear to take pleasure in purposfully screwing their tenants. the maintanence guys are the laziest people i think i have ever seen. after calling them 3 to 4 time over things like; no weather stripping on my door, a hornets nest on my balcony, a broken a/c unit, a broken sky light which leaks water and snow, and a broken door, I ended up fixing most of it myself after a few weeks. I was actually told that since I didn't own the walls and ceiling that i was to allow maintainance unlimited, unsupervised access to my apartment without 24 hrs notice. maintainance has also walked in on my wife when she was naked (haveing just gotten out of the shower). they knocked once, she said "hold on one second, i need to put on some clothes" at which point the used their master key to unlock the door and walk right in. at one point they had to fix a leak in my shower. this took them 8 hours begining when they woke me up on my day off at 8 a.m. and including the 2 hour luch break they took after dismanting my toilet and shower (we couldn't shower or piss inside for the whole day, we walked to the gas station in shifts to piss). they walked in and out without closing the door behind them, or knocking before they entered after the first time. then they left all the torn out drywall in my shower, and after being told the walls would be fixed the next morning, they waited two days until they called a guy come fix the walls they tore open!! at that point my wife (then fiance) was visiting me, they posted a notice on my door saying i had 2 days to get rid of my illegal occupants. she had her dog with her and they posted another notice along side the first saying that i had 2 days to get rid of my illegal pets or i would be evicted. also, to renew my current lease (at 615/mo base, 675 when all is said and done, minus utilities) they want 980/mo, base rent not including trash, water, or utilities. there have been several car break ins, dispite assuances of saftey. and all the outdoor lights are low preasure sodium (look them up) they are the most unsafe lights possible as they make id'ing any attacker impossible. I could keep going... but I'll end this with saying that living here was one of the worst mistakes of my life. DO NOT sign a lease here!! they will treat you like crap and weasle as much money out of you as is human possible, without doing any work. again, run far far far away for here.
