Having lived in Two seperate complexes owned by Carmel before moving into St. Moritz, my expectations were already low...
I lived in a 1 bedroom 1 bathroom on the third floor for $850 a month. I got a cheaper pro rated price for a twelve month lease, but also lived there with a month extension.
Management is rude, pretentious and view current residents as nothing more than a hassle. Most of the maintenance staff are actually friendly. The staff at Carmel Corporate (via phone) are also pretty rude (expect them to have little interest in what you have to say unless it involves moeny).
The floorplan was ok. Carpet was lowest quality. appliances VERY poor. Doors and cabinets VERY poor (some cheap plastic faux wood''). It's also humorous to notice that the model floorplan for the 1 bedroom they take you to for your tour: they removed the bedroom door entirely from the frame to make it appear more open.
Pool is small, hot tub isn't too bad. Gym was quite nice, except it shares the space with the leasing office so you have to see management walking around and people taking tours (you just want to walk in and say, keep looking!)

Basically, Carmel Apts are all overpriced and low quality. think twice before signing any lease. there are better places to live in Denver for cheaper, so keep looking!!!
