I would not recommend this place to anyone. The walls are paper-thin, our townhome is crawling with spiders, our bathroom floor creaks so loud that it actually wakes everyone else up when you walk on it, there are cars all over the roads going throughout the complex because people jam their garages full of their belongings (which you're not supposed to do according to the lease), and that's just to name a few of its flaws. Also, we left on vacation on Labor Day weekend (Saturday was the first) and weren't able to get the rent to them until Tuesday, so they charged us $50 extra. We've lived here over a year and haven't missed a payment, yet they still are charging us.

you knew that rent was due by the 1st. Ever hear of planning ahead? It's your own stupid fault for getting charged extra for getting your rent in late.

You might have considered writing the rent check to them BEFORE leaving on vacation...? Duh!
As for the rest, I almost never hear my neighbors. Most people use their garages for their cars, and there are parking spaces throughout the complex. Yes, some people park along the roads (which the apartment managers discourage), but the roadways are wide enough for that to not be a major problem. The point in this is that management sets rules (don't use your garage primarily for storage, etc) but they aren't martinets about enforcing them; if you're not causing problems, they tend to give you some leeway about things.
As for the "crawling with spiders" part - we see a few spiders here & there; we generally put them outside. If your apartment was "crawling" with them, you should have called Verity or Rich & had them get pest control in to take care of it.
