I would definitely recommend this place. We had a couple complaints, but less than any other place we've lived. I moved out a couple years ago, but I don't remember having any serious complaints about snow removal, though parking was difficult later in the evening. We had only one minor complaint with appliances during 8 months and it was fixed after about 2 days. I also didn't like having to take the trash out because the dumpster was sorta far away. My husband was bothered occasionally by the neighbors above us, but it wasn't enough to bother me.
I loved the gas fireplace and the laundry room with washer and dryer in each apt. The bedroom closet was huge, with two swinging doors, so my hubby and I didn't fight over space. The pool was also very nice, as was the "movie theater" you could book for free, the indoor basketball court, billiard table, and I think they had tennis too, but I never used that. I never had a problem with the other tenants being loud or obnoxious.
We had the one bedroom with study, and there was a patio off the dining room AND the bedroom (how fancy) and we had granite counters - probably fake, but they still looked nice. The apartment was so bright and open, I loved having people over to show it off! The built in bookshelves were handy, too. Oh, and the big garden tub and two sinks in the bathroom...I wish we hadn't had to leave.
The thing that impressed me most, though, was the management. I don't know if it's still the same people, but they were always very nice and more ethical than others I've dealt with. My husband and I had to break our lease, so I was expecting to get screwed over, however, we got our full deposit back without any argument. When we left we still owed them money for breaking the lease (one month's rent), but they had no problem with setting up a payment plan and even when we missed two payments in a row, they didn't charge us late fees or call more than once to remind us.
All in all, no place is perfect, but I would definitely live here again!
