My husband & I have been living at AMLI for about 9 months now and love it. We live on the top floor, so we have never had any problems with noise, although you can occasionally hear the neighbor in the bathroom. (Not toilet flushing or anything like that, thought I heard a loud throat clearing once...) We fell in love with the vaulted ceilings, decent rent price, and fantastic office staff. The electricity bills were never that high ($35-$95) and we are electronic geeks! The gas bills were sometimes high, but we were never too cold or too hot. The rooms were nice and spacious. We were able to get a full sectional & 42'' TV in the living room with lots of extra room, a full kitchen table in the dinning room, 2 huge desk in the 2nd bedroom & a king bed, plus a dresser in the Master bedroom. I can't say enough about the over sized shower and walk-in closets. The tiles in the kitchen & bath weren't that fun to clean, but then cleaning is never fun. The grounds were always well kept & people with dogs were very respectful of their neighbors. It's a VERY safe neighborhood and the type of complex were everyone gathers around the pool during the Summer Sundays. Being within walking distance to the light-rail was amazing!! We are moving to DC from here and we are really going to miss having such a great apartment at such a good price. We did have a problem with our sink once that took a month to fix, but it was over the Christmas holidays and the staff was very apologetic when if took so long to fix. These are apartments, not houses, so you have to expect to fight for parking, but overall we really enjoyed living here and would recommend it to anyone looking in the area.
