a very nice place, but you pay for what you get.
overall i had a positive experience with AMLI, but my rent increase after one year was more than i could afford. i would still be living there if i could afford it.
parking is adequate. attached garages are available which is a real convenience, particularly in the winter.
i never experienced any noise issues while living in AMLI.
the grounds are safe, well lit, and clean. people keep their kids under reasonable control and clean up after their dogs.
there has been no construction on the property during my stay there.
maintenance is basically non-existent. any maintenance request required multiple calls to the office just to get them to create a maintenance ticket ... most of the time the staff would receive your request very courteously and then promptly forget that you ever called. the request would never be communicated to the maintenance staff. once the maintenance staff finally gets the request, most of the time they just close the ticket without even coming to your apartment. most maintenance issues i ended up fixing myself, because it just wasn't worth the frustration of dealing with the property owner.
the staff was overall friendly and courteous, but there was not a brain in the entire group. as mentioned earlier, simple tasks like creating a maintenance ticket are beyond the office staff, and the maintenance people themselves remind me of several dropouts i knew in high school. there may be one experienced mechanic in the whole group; the rest of them are probably minimum wagers the property picked up on the cheap.
trash is a complete disaster, grossly inadequate and probably violating at least a few health codes. i don't remember a single time in the year i lived there that the trash was not overflowing. there simply are not enough dumpsters for the number of people living at AMLI.
despite my above complaints, my overall living experience at AMLI was positive. there are drawbacks no matter where you live, and AMLI is better than most.
@ my commenter:
"Maybe you could afford it if you had a high school education. Get a life loser".
you need a comma after "life" in your second sentence. you also need a period (or exclamation point) as terminating punctuation. just thought, as one high school dropout to another, i would help you out. wouldn't want anyone to mistake you for a loser. ;)
thanks for reading, and any responses that are actually about the property are welcomed and encouraged.

Perhaps I should weigh in on the discussion. The initial response you received was unwarranted and ignorant at best. Given the current economic conditions, no correlation exists with respect to financial misfortune and ones educational background. Of course, arguing with such a low-level; gene pool byproduct is pointless.
Kagerousan, I'm ashamed of you :-) The most basic rule of grammar -- "Capitalization" at the beginning of sentences! Equally important, " I " (in reference to oneself) is to always be capitalized.
Cheers!
