The Arm Pit of Hell

This appartment complex seemed promissing at the time I was shopping around. It had the best Sqft to the dollar ratio, seemed like a great location, and relatively new appartments.
However, after moving in I quickly found that this place was really the arm pit of hell.
To begin with, the appartments themselves are quite old and many components are falling apart. For example, the electric sockets are all loose, meaning that when you plug something into them, the plug falls out almost immediately. Another example is the A/C. Here, the copper connection to collect the condensation from the A/C and funnel it to the drain was broken, meaning that whenever the A/C was turned on the condensation leaked onto the carpet and into the nearby carpeted bathroom. Other items that were broken included the main gates that limit the flow of outside traffic into the community. About 80% of the time the gates were broken and were left open!!! Then about 25% of the time the gates were completely broken, meaning that the key cards did not work, thus the gates did not open!!
Also, there was a noise issue with neighbors, but this seems to be unavoidable as one can expect this in any extremely close living quarters. Similarly, one can alse expect managment to be of absolute zero help in remedying such issues.
Moving to the issue of management and returning to the issue of broken components. Yes, these items could/were fixed when asked, but management assumed it was the tenets fault, despite the fact that the causes were of age and over use. As a result, I was charged for damages in which I did not cause. In addition, management tends to discriminate against non-married tenants. Also, when I moved out I gave my change of address to management so that they could get a hold of me to return the deposit, yet they wrote the wrong address down, even after I tried to correct them.
Lastly, continuing on management. Colorado law shows that appartments need to be "broom swept" clean. Yet, when moving out Autumn Chase had its head maintenance personnel walk through the appartment with a WHITE glove and ran it over the blinds, counter tops, on top of the ceiling fan, amongst other places to see if there was any dust!! According to him, if there was ANY dust on the glove after the walk through the tenant was forfeit their deposit!!! (BTW, let me inform you that this appartment complex is backed up to C-470 highway, thus one can expect traffic noise and dust).
Saddly, what I've listed is only the tip of the iceberg and without sounding completely negative. I shall conclude by stating that the only good thing about this place at the time was the Sqft to the dollar value.
