Overall, I had a good experience here. I've gone into more detail below to give you some insight if you're planning to live here.
Things I liked, as follows:
-Lots of sq. ft. for the $$
-Lots of storage
-Clean
-Reserved carport included with apartment
-Wood burning fire place (nice!)
-Lots of light
-Large balcony
-Excellent layout, feels a lot bigger than it is
-Residents are very nice and friendly
-Management was mostly helpful and kind
-They rent month-to-month, so you're not committed to any long lease.
-The grounds, overall, are well maintained. Grass is green, large trees.
Things I didn't like, as follows:
-Noise (from neighbors in apartments above/below you & from outdoors)
-Parking for more than 1 car is hard to find (ie. Guests)
-They seemed to let the outside pathway lights burn out, and didn't bother to change them as soon as possible.
-Bushes on pathway to my apartment grew rapidly and weren't properly trimmed back from the sidewalk.
-Gates rarely, if ever, are ALL closed. At least one is usually inoperable, leaving the complex open to outsiders -- so what's the point of the gates' Also, as someone else pointed out, if you don't have a house phone, you can't buzz people in thru the gates. Major pain in the a$$.
-Gym's AC was out a lot, meaning it was quite hot in there! (Not what you want when you're working out.)
-Older appliances that work, but only barely. For instance, my hot water heater needs to be replaced (it makes horrible clicking/creaking/knocking noises), but it is still chugging right along, trying to heat the water I use. Also, my dishwasher leaked, and instead of replacing it, like they needed to, they "readjusted" the lock on it, claiming that it was the problem. The lock never has worked properly. Although, it hasn't leaked since.
-Windows and doors aren't energy efficient. High electricity bills.
-Things that I marked down as problems on my initial walk-thru were never fixed. (For example, one sliding glass door doesn't lock properly, and there is rotting wood on my balcony.)
Although I know it sounds like a lot of complaints, overall, it's a nice place to live, especially briefly. From my understanding, it's all month-to-month, so if you need a decently place to stay, especially temporarily, it'll work perfectly. Overall, I have a good impression of the place, no worse than any other apartment complex.
