By hiking, terrible insect problem, but overall very nice

The community looks a little weird because of garages lining the streets, but if you're lucky enough to get something with a mountain view, it's a nice place to live.

It seems like a quiet neighborhood overall, although I have had to call security many times recently because people think it's okay to go to the hot tub at 4 am and scream at eachother.

Internal storage is very insufficient in my 2 BR. Definitely not enough room to store towels - there's only 1 hall closet for that, and its shelves are, get this, TRIANGULAR! We had to devise a way to fold our towels into triangles just so they would not fall off the shelves.

It feels like a safe neighborhood, which is priceless, and its backed by miles and miles of trails. This is fantastic for anyone with a bike or a pet. This is the one feature that makes this place the best community I've lived in, out of 3 in central Florida and 2 others in Littleton.

However, probably because of the trails, there is a very severe insect problem here. We live by the pool, not right on the trails, and throughout the Winter even, on a daily basis we'd find spiders all over.

Springtime has just rolled around, and I find centipedes, earwigs, and ants all over the damn place (you'd *think* the spiders would get them, but I guess there's too many).

One last note - the mailman is awful. Returning our mail (returning our packages that were addressed to smith jim instead of jim smith as an example!), but giving us other people's mail several times a week, and on several occasions NOT LOCKING THE MAILBOXES - great for identity theft. I have made several complaints to the local post office.

Overall I love this community. Only 1 of the spiders was really huge. You can't beat the trails. But not being able to park in front of my apartment for the past week is a pain. At least the parking spaces are huge, which is nice with a new car - no door dings.
