my apartment looked very nice on the surface, however, there were a lot of issues! I only ended up living there 4 1/2 months because i couldn't take it any longer.

1.)the Dishwasher leaked terribly. if i used it at all - even without soap - i would find the entire kitchen floor soaked within 20 minutes. I had mantainance out 5 times, each time they said they fixed it. they didn't.

2.) the balconies were horribly weathered and full of splinters. the storage space was non existant. It was nice to have 2 balconies, though. My view of the garages was breathtaking!

3.) I lived on the second floor and they had crappy concrete steps - you know the kind they dump pebbles in to make them look snazzy. if you know anything about ------ denver weather it will snow, then be sunny, then rain, sun, snow, sun, etc. the steps would get wet, then frozen (water expands creating cracks in concrete) then baked, then frozen, etc and the steps kept breaking! usually i was able to avoid injury but i bought a couch and was carrying it upstairs and a stair broke and I twisted my ankle. the complex didn't even apologize.

4.) the office staff. some were OK, some were -------. they weren't really very attentive. I would call about things 3-4 times and nothing would be done. i would have to go INTO the office and fill out an incident report for anything to be done.

5.) the hot water heater was ---- and i had to call three times to get it replaced. each time the guy just turned some screws and proclaimed it fixed. i had to demand a new water heater in order for it to be replaced, and the only reason they did is because i turned on the shower while the guy was there and 5 minutes later it was ice cold.

6.)VERY ------ to you if they think you owe them money. they pay the electric while the apt is vacant, after you rent it you change the electric to your name. I did that but the electric co. charged both of us for the first two weeks i was in the apt. I got 4 nasty letters in a 7 day span, even after i called the office and was told not to worry. then i got an EVICTION NOTICE! this was due to a disputed $20 which, again, i had already paid. once i had the electric company fax proof that i paid, they dropped it. again, no apology.

7.) the garage is a joke. i have a civic and i was afraid to park in the garage because it was so small and narrow, and i could barely get out of my car. the garage door opener seldom worked, and i could never get the office to replace it.

8.) the chick below me was white trash with like 19 unruly kids. why am i paying all this money if this type of person can live here, too'
