property management is ridiculously unprofessional and rude.
my lease is coming up for renewal, and i received a notice. the notice states since i've been such a good tenant they'd be happy to renew my lease for 200.00 more per month! i received this notice six days before i had to either renew or give my notice. great timing on their part. also, if you choose to go month to month after your first year they charge you an extra 200.00 per month on top of the rent increase. windows and doors are poorly sealed. was told water and trash bills would be approx. 12-15 per month for my 1 bedroom, since moving in i have not received a bill less than 40.00. can hear every move my neighbors (who are complete jerks by the way) make. have called the police several times regarding parties after 3 am weeknights and weekends with no response from property management or douglas county sheriff's office. people leave their dog scat around and just throw trash wherever they feel like it, probably becausee the trash compactor is always overflowing. issues with bugs in apartment. i've been battling this for the past year. my place had a washer and dryer in unit. the washer was so old it left rust stains all over my clothes, now i make weekly trips to the laundromat, since no one was able to resolve the issue. if you feel like tossing your cash into a trash can and setting it on fire, go ahead, move in here. it's great!

in reply to the first comment, i did move out a week prior to my lease terminating, nov 23rd, the day before i posted the review. you're calling me a "cry baby" because the offer i was presented to renew my lease required a 26 percent rent increase per month' even though it's an extreme increase, not surprisingly it's NOT the only reason i posted this, nor is it the reason i've moved. it's hilarious that you think that after all the other problems this property has. i'm guessing you're one of the people who don't pick up after their dog, who isn't respectful of other tenants in such a densely populated complex. you are more likely than not one of the people who make apartment complexes like this undesirable. anyway, i won't be checking this anymore as i now have officially closed on my house. renter's please BEWARE OF THE BLUFFS.

Move out then cry baby! If they wouldn't have raised your rent, you wouldn't be writing this post. GET A LIFE LOSER!!!!

OMG!!! They are raising your rent by $200! They must have diffent rules for everybody. Mine wasn't that high for a 1 bedroom. I will say I agree with you on most of your complaints. I am sick of the dog scat and the loud parties. Also a pet peeve I have is all the kids that run around here on the street. One of these days a kid is going to get hit and the parent is just going to blame the poor driver. Parents need to take their children elsewhere and actually keep them safe.

My boyfriend and I lived in a 2 bedroom at the Bluffs from July 2005-July 2006. We moved out because they were raising our rent from $946 to over $1100, almost a $200 increase. So I absolutely believe what you are saying! When we complained about about how high the increase was, they told us to stop "yelling" at them; I don't know about now, but at the time the manager was so unprofessional. Anyway, we have been living at another apartment complex in Littleton for almost 2 years now, where they only raised our rent $40 when we renewed in 2007- much more reasonable!
