The Bluffs, well they look nice from the ooutside, and the apartments are decent. The appliances are crap! My stove had mismatched burners that never sit even, and I have a dishwasher that requires two cycles (at least) for every load, not to mention that I need to dry a load of laundry three times. Parking is absolutely appaling. The residents park as if the cars were driven by drunken monkeys! Of course The Bluffs answer to that was to repave and stripe the parking spots. Now people just park stupidly on well striped parking spaces. Which leads me to the management, or should I say lack there of...
Besides the fact that the revolving door as led to countless faces in the eight months that I have lived here, they must all come from the same pool. They are extremely unprofessional, uncourteous, and to be frank not that bright! Twice in six months they have set up utilities for a new tenant (who was supposedly moving into my unit) and cancelled my account with Xcel Energy without my knowledge or consent (the rant on Xcel for allowing this will appear somewhere else). In fact, the one time the placed my name on the account with a Bluffs maintenance worker who lives in the complex. The maintenance is questionable also. Although I have not had a problem with work that has been done, the response time is truly unacceptable!
Highlands Ranch is a nice place to live, but there are a few other apartment complexes in the area that you should look into. Avoid this place like the plague that infests the prairie dogs that run through the beautiful on-site nature and bike trails (as I was informed of when looking to move here), which turn out to be the Highline Canal Trail!
