If you are wanting to move into a cheap community this is it! When we came to Columbine Meadows looking for a place to live everyone was ok. They don't take you around to look for apartments you are handed a set of keys and a map and then left to your own devices tryign to figure out where you are going. When you do finally find a unit that you like they promise you everything short of the moon that will happen in that place. You go in to do your walk through before signing the lease and everythign is wonderful....Fast forward two weeks. The work there is so shotty, they do a quick job making it appear as if everything is well and then within a few weeks everything in the house is falling apart. The walls are painted with the cheapest paint you could imagine, the carpet is cleaned with the worst cleaning product out there (we have lived there only 4 months and our carpet looks like we have walked through the house with mud on our feet everyday since we moved in.). Then when I contacted the OWNER of the community to tell himt hat I was extremely unhappy I was told that I was a woman and women are too emotional for him! This place is a JOKE! Miserable as I am they won't let me out of my lease, they want me to sublet this hellhole out to someone else which I wouldnt' do to my worst enemy! Then during a freeze snap our furnace went out and the imcompetant maintence people couldn't fix it ( we woke up in the middle of the night and our house was a brisk 47 degrees in 8 below 0 weather with my child in the house!) I ended up paying a compnay 250.00 dollars to come out and fix it IN A RENTAL! The kidsin the neigborhood run rampant, one broke my windshield throwing rocks. I could go on and on and on......
Bottom line....stay away, if you're looking for quality townhomes at a cheap price, look ELSEWHERE!
