Yo!

Bad Management & Petophilia

When we first moved in we were excited! But that quickly changed. At first the house was nice. Nice size for our family, quiet neighborhood, close to schools, etc. The management was nice at first but quickly got very bad. Maintenance was good at first but got worse and worse. The old maintenance man, Jim, was very responsive and did a good job. However, he got too overwhelmed and had too much to do at one time that he eventually quit about 4 years after we moved in, due to too much work and couldn't deal with the attitude of the management and their lack of caring for the residents.

By the time I moved out (running) from this place my two children were NOT allowed to play outside due to the lack of safety and the criminal aspects of the place. Have I mentioned the 14 yr old petophile that scared a small portion of the community the last two months we lived there. The police were called and things were "sort" of taken care of but we didn't stay long enough to find out. Management did let the rest of the complex know about the situation, but, only after two weeks of arguing and convincing them that the word needed to be spread about this threat. They didn't want to hurt their reputation to potential renters!

As for the maintenance, since Jim left it went downhill, FAST!

There were approx. 6-8 different men hired in 8 - 12 months. None were capable of the job and none were trustworthy to be in your house when you weren't home. I had several tools stolen from my garage and later found in my neighbors homes. I had to fix a LOT of my own maintenance issues, because these men either wouldn't show up or couldn't fix it right. The A/C they finally put in is not up to code, (I know I'm in the construction trade) because they went with a cheap contractor, and if they had to bring in professional contractors to fix something, it took 4-6 weeks to get them out there.

I had a neighbor move in 6 months before we left. In the middle of winter, very cold temps. their furnace went out. Management REFUSED to fix or replace it. They spent $2000 to get a new furnace put in just to keep warm in the cold winter months.
The sewers backed up more time than a truck driver making deliveries and the building code violations are scary. Not to mention that I replaced every light fixture in the place because to old ones were crap, and not with cheap ones. So Merry Christmas Columbine, you got about $2000 worth of free labor and materials from me.

My family left because it was not a safe environment any longer.

I understand that June and Polly have since been removed (NOT retired) But Brittany is not any better.

We are currently being sent to collections for the last months rent and atty fees. because we HAD to break our lease for safety reasons.
They knew this as did many others. Not a suitable environmet for raising a family.
If your looking to rent here, DON'T!!!!
If you need to get out, GOD BLESS & GOOD LUCK!!!! YOU'LL NEED IT!
