As a current resident, the only positive thing to living here is the pricing. But, as many of you are probably thinking, sacrifices can be made to accomadate the unusual low rent. Not even close. A underground studio apartment in the heart of downtown with a crime rate through the roof, sounds more pleaseable.
Terrible management: Prior sheet filled out to moving in, shows 15 items that needed to be fixed before i moved in. Not a single one was ever taken care of. I brought it to managements attention, there response is that their maintence staff was overwhelmed with work in other units(not a good sign)3 months later....still nothing, not even a single phone call attempt to tell me items will be taken care of.

Infestations: Bees,spiders,wasps,mice,birds, and crickets are an eveyday sighting due to holes in the sides of the house,and poor insulation. Not to mention the fact the there is a "no pet " policy, but previous owners left behind cat feces in the basement!!!

The pipes in the master bathroom were replaced from the previous owner being evicted. Maintence workers replaced the pipes and tiles in the bathroom with unmatching titles, and no caulking around the fixtures. The manager told me that she couldn't believe that her staff would have not fixed it, and made an emergency call to the maintence worker that they needed to fix it asap...That was 3 months ago, way to stay on top of it.

I could go on forever on the problems, but to summarize, moving to columbine meadows was the biggest mistake ever. And something should be done to take care of this place.
