I moved into the complex while it was still being managed by Archstone and it was great. Things got fixed within 24 hours, the office staff was friendly and helpful, and they took great care of the apartments, etc. Berkshire came and bought the complex and it all went downhill from there. They never plowed our parking lots after both blizzards....they refuse to fix one of the best features of the complex - the gates. They haven't worked since October of 2006 and they send regular notices that "they will be fixed by Monday!" Too bad thats not true. We had a terrible pothole problem and it didn't get fixed until a few weeks ago. And the company they hired did a terrible job - there are already cracks in the pavement. The office staff is completely incompetent and lazy. You walk in and they look at you like you don't belong there. I had a friend go in to pick something up and the girl working in the office told her she would have to wait because she had to finish eating the peanuts on her desk because they were so good. What the hell' Do your job. I could go on and on about how terrible the office staff is there but to top it all off they are raising rent about $200 but on their website its about $40 cheaper than what they quoted me. for what' I'll never know. I'm taking my stuff and moving on to better places. Good luck if you move here...you are asking for your life to be crap. I miss you Archstone.
