A Comfortable Place

I've lived in Blue Ridge for a year and a half, and I really love it. The floorplan is beautiful with giant windows throughout. Maintenance is usually clean, responsive and thorough. Also, the grounds are well manicured and free from garbage and litter. I plan on staying here for quite a while and have made quite a few friends at the main clubhouse. It's a good place for community activities and staying healthy.
I noticed some people have written bad reviews about Green River. I had thought about moving there and am glad I didn't. It is a little more run-down than Blue Ridge and has quite a few domestic violence calls. But still, I would choose Green River over most other places in town... except Blue Ridge. Blue Ridge, Green River and Red Canyon are all managed by different groups of people. I think that accounts for the difference in quality.

For the most part, it is a nice place and a lot better then most traditional apartment complexes; however, you pay for it. I started out in 2006 at $709 a month and now I am at $849, that is a pretty sizable price difference. Also, my friends and family actually laughed at the baby-poop brown color of the apartments when they painted last year. Overall not a bad place by any strech of the imagination, but when you could be paying the same amount for a mortgage and own why rent here?
