The Pines are by far the worst apartments out there. You may think they have unbeatable prices, but believe me, happiness is worth way more then cheep rent. I took off work and had all kinds of people helping me move on my move in date, but they messed up my lease, so my move-in day was set back and it was very inconvient. They didn't apologize or offer me anything. The places are falling apart, everything was being repaired all of the time, I got so sick of people pounding on the walls and coming in my place to fix things. On a couple occasions the stairs broke, now that sounds pretty dangerous if you are carring something heavy, or just walking. It took months for them to fix the stairs that I had to use. Don't even think about getting the maintanance people to come with in a reasonable time if something goes wrong in your place. My furnace stopped working on several occasions and they left me freezing.
My car was knocked out of alignment from the ridiculous speed bumps, I thank God everyday since I moved out because I don't have to go over those any more.The places are ugly and out dated inside, there is not enough windows or air circulation. The employees were different everytime I went in there, its bad when the employees don't even stay. They were usually rude and sarcastic. I can't believe they brag about those discusting ponds,and charge you more to live by them. Don't even think about getting in the hot tub, I almost did, untill I noticed that it was infested with spiders! The gym is worse then a cheep hotel gym.Unbelievable!
If you are still thinking about moving here, brace yourself for a very unhappy life for the time you spend here.
