I have only lived in the Pines since March of 2007, however I love the apartment. (stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, fireplace, and neutral colors) The staff is wonderful and have always been polite and helpful. They offer great move in specials and low deposit rates. They are also great when it comes to pets! I have read some of the reviews regarding how awful the place is and do not agree at all. There will always be noise and maintenance in any apartment that you live in. I used to live in a house and we had to maintain every problem ourselves. They were costly and time consuming repairs that usually meant taking time off of work or calling a service to set up an appointment time. I have had 2 maintenance issues here (air conditioning not on and backed up sink) and they have both been corrected in a timely manner while I was at work. As far as the speed bumps are concerned...they are way too large, but if they weren't there I am sure tennants would complain about people speeding through the complex. It is an affordable and safe place to live. It is near everything that you could want or need. Not only would I recommend anyone to live here, I would encourage it!
